About Us

Gyanodaya Bal Batika is well introduced as a school with fair renown, contributing to the upliftment of the educational standards for over four decades. The school was founded by Mrs Indira Yakthumba in solemn tribute to her husband His Excellency Late Gyan Bahadur Yakthumba, a true patriot of Nepal, a multi-faceted personality, a fighter for democracy, human rights and justice, a diplomat and the first inspector general of police from the public.

Gyanodaya Bal Batika is located at Bungamati/ Khokana, Lalitpur amid a tranquil, naturally divine ambience, conducive to peaceful teaching and learning. Amphitheatre

Adjoining down to yoga and meditation park, the terraced cemented seats and platform as a whole is commonly known as amphitheatre in Gyanodaya. Teachers and students often visit amphitheatre for their theatrical performances and practices.

Auditorium - Gyan Hall

Gyan Auditorium Hall is a multipurpose hall to host various activities programs and functions. It has a stage facilitated with projections and light effects.

Auditorium - Indoor Sports

Gyanodaya features an indoor sports facility which comprises of a multi use sports hall with markings for basketball, volleyball and badminton but this does not limit what the space can be used for.
