Fintech today announced a Series A funding round to accelerate its expansion beyond the Kathmandu Valley. The round will fund terminal hardware for new routes, additional recharge counters, and continued investment in the mobile app.
"Kathmandu was always the proving ground, not the destination," said co-founder Rajesh Sharma. "This funding lets us bring the same cashless experience to three more cities over the next year and a half."
Expansion planning is already underway for Pokhara Valley routes, with Chitwan and Biratnagar to follow.
